In compliance with GDPR and the DPDP Act, PostBrix provides a clear and straightforward process for users to request the complete deletion of their personal data.
1. Self-Service Deletion
You can delete specific templates, images, and projects directly within the PostBrix Editor and Dashboard. Once deleted from the interface, these items are marked for removal and will be permanently purged from our active databases.
2. Full Account Deletion
- —To permanently delete your entire PostBrix account and all associated data, you can use the 'Delete Account' option in your Account Settings, or email your request to privacy@postbrix.com from your registered email address.
- —Upon receiving a verified account deletion request, your workspace, templates, assets, and personal information will be permanently removed from our active production systems within 30 days.
3. Data Retained for Legal Compliance
Even after a deletion request, we are required by law and by our payment processors to retain certain financial and transactional records. This includes:
- —Invoices, billing history, and payment gateway logs (for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes).
- —Records of refunds, chargebacks, and disputes.
- —Audit logs related to severe security incidents or AUP violations.
4. Backups
Data purged from our active databases may temporarily remain in secure, encrypted, immutable backup archives strictly for disaster recovery purposes. These backups are automatically rotated and permanently overwritten within 60 days.
